This video was taken during an artist residency in May 2017. Without any artistic pretension. I simply sought to document a moment in which I was literally suspended. It was the video of a tourist in a country where she had come to train and produce work.

The cable cars shown in ‘colgando’ seek to link the idea of transportation with the world of art and creation. The cable car appears as that means of transportation that moves forward, but constantly wobbles.

Like this one, artists and creators also seem to find themselves oscillating and, as if it were a storm, in moments of crisis they are swayed more strongly. The passengers of a cable car literally hang inside a cabin several meters above the ground; we artists and creators seem suspended in the air and in the uncertainty of precariousness.

The video ends before the cabin reaches solid ground.
