Fake haikus generator
This is an algorithm written in Python that combines a selection of nouns, adjectives, verbs and adverbs obtained thanks to the 1914-2014 project.
These words have been classified using regular expressions (regex), so their meaning has not been taken into account when selecting them.
Although by their structure, the generated compositions could resemble a haiku, their lack of semantic value relegates them to a failed imitation.
The code is loosely based on the Taroko Gorge by Nick Montfort and inspired by the workshop given by Ryan Patterson in 2020 through the School for Poetic Computation (SFPC).
Research conducted with a Banco Sabadell Foundation Grant for Research in Social Sciences and Humanities 2020-2021.
